August Goals 2020 ✓

Hi! For this blog post I decided to write about something to give myself, and you all a little bit of motivation and ideas for the month of August. It will make your month brighter and maybe give you somethings to add to your everyday activities. Everything listed you can do at home of course, taking into consideration if you're still mostly indoors for the pandemic. So.....if you're looking for a few ways to be more productive in those 31 days keep reading.

▪️Meditate Daily

So I started getting into wellness more due to mostly being at home and its honestly so good for you. It might be cliché but it really does change your mood and put you in a better mindset. Its also the best way to relax from watching your phone the entire day lol. For about a week I slacked off from meditating so for August I want to really get back into it. I use an app called ~Serenity~ and it makes meditation so much easier, especially if your new to it. Click the highlighted button below if you want to check it out and I'm sure you wont regret it!

▪️Read A Book

Over a short period of time I accumulated a lot of books, and honestly I haven't finished reading any because I was either busy or procrastinating. But what better time than now right? I've been watching a ton of movies and Netflix series but its good to take a break and read. So get some reading done and maybe learn something new.

▪️Exercise

Being at home definitely made me make some changes. I exercise more now than I did before and I'm glad I made the change. As a person who unfortunately doesn't have a routine except when I'm attending classes, exercising makes me feel to do more during the day instead of being unproductive.

Organize/Clean My Computer

Alright..... I know I can't be the only one who has stuff all over the place on their computer. This month I need to organize my desktop as well as delete a lot of  files that I just don't need. Working on an organized device allows you to be way more productive and focused rather than not being able to locate things. Prioritize your most used apps putting them on your desktop or task bar. And yes this will take some time but it will make life so much easier.

▪️Create A Moodboard

Being a fashion student, I'm creative and absolutely love love love to make moodboards! However I haven't made any in a while, so time to brush up my skills and create something colorful. They can be very inspiring and positive and you really don't need to be into fashion to make one. Its fun and a good way to pass some time so give it a try.

▪️Cook Something New

I like to cook, bake and experiment with making different types of food, be it from my country or otherwise. Anew recipe this month sounds like a great idea. Something I've never made before and of course looks aesthetically beautiful cause I'm about that.

I hope you have fun with these goals and start something new as well as continuing your good habits.
