This past weekend I did some shopping and for the most, I bought a good amount of makeup and jewelry so I decided to do a haul. Also....hi and welcome to my blog! Its fun, positive and aesthetic. Since this is my first post I figured why not make it about something I enjoy, that being shopping and makeup. Basically Wonderful World is a cosmetic retailer in Trinidad. They sell cosmetics and jewelry ~amongst other products. So if you want to see the things I bought keep reading. Please note that this is not a review as much as it is a haul.
All products contained in this post are cruelty free.
Starry丨Perfect Love Creamy Color Corrector
Like most of the items in this haul, this color corrector palette is a first try for me as I've never bought this before. It doesn't have a bad smell and to be honest it smells like the plastic Barbie dolls you'd buy as a kid. Even though I bought it to try it out, at first I thought the packaging looked underwhelming but its cute and I like that. The actual product has a smooth cream consistency and the colors aren't super pigmented. However that just means its buildable and blends well.
Price: $45.00
Profusion丨Studio Blush Metalized Palette
This palette has 6 blendable blush powders and its from the Profusion ⚡Heavy Metal Collection⚡. As the package states, the colors really are blendable and has peachy to rose tones. The packaging itself is iridescent. I don't really like the smell of it because it smells more like chemicals but it isn't strong. You don't have to apply much for daily makeup looks and it layers well.
Price: $50.00丨Sale price: $20.00
Beauty Treats丨Rose Quarts Eyeshadow Palette
Alright...as the name of it suggests, its a warm rose tone palette. It smells like your regular eyeshadow and has 20 shades, both matte and shimmer. Some colors are more pigmented than others. For the theme of the palette, the range of colors are good and really pretty.
Price: $45.00
City Color丨HD Pressed Powder
This is just a basic pressed powder that blends translucent. I think it works okay and being that I got it on sale was pretty good. It works on various skin tones and with a good setting spray id say its a win.
Price: $28.00丨Sale price: $10.00
Beauty Treats丨Perfecting Primer
I desperately needed primer so when I saw this I just had to buy it. Its for all skin types and skin tones, it has a really smooth application and its lightweight. The only issue I have with this primer is that it is very matte, and usually that's good but I have dry skin so it made my face feel really dry. So definitely use a moisturizer under this if you have dry skin, but I think its good so I'll continue using it.
Price: $30.00
NK Makeup丨Setting Spray
This is a matte setting spray that doubles as a primer and setting spray, which I did not know when I bought it haha. So you can use it before and after applying makeup. Can't really explain it but it just smells like your generic setting spray. One thing to note, spary it from a good distance away because a lot of it comes out.
Price: $40.00
Starry丨Perfect Roller Liquid Eyeliner
When I saw this I was curious and decided to try it. The applicator is a tiny roller that's supposed to glide on in a perfect line as its one consistent line.
Price: $15.00
Malibu Glitz丨Fruity Lip Balm
The packaging on this one was so cute and I needed a new lip balm. I couldn't help myself. The product is citrus but the smell is light, and I prefer that. I'm not a fan of orange so I like that the smell isn't super strong. The texture is a bit sticky but I like it and if your accustomed wearing lip gloss then you'll be fine.
Price: $15.00
Jewelry
Lastly but not least I bought some jewelry ~feeding into my addiction...sigh. I picked up a glass bead bracelet and two pairs of earrings, these cute medium sized silver hoops as well as a pair of star charmed earrings. I don't really buy costume jewelry because I can't wear it but these are hypoallergenic. Also, I prefer to buy silver jewelry from wonderful world because their gold metal jewelry changes really fast.
Bracelet price: $20.00
Hoops price: $15.00
Star earrings: $15.00
If you made it through to the end, thank you so much for reading!
